SCHOOL POLICY
ADMISSION
Application for admission to any class must be made in writing and delivered to the administrator directly. This can be accomplished via fax, email, direct mail or phone. All students are admitted when both registration and payment have been received.
CAUSE FOR DISMISSAL
Dismissal from the class will occur if the class participant is verbally abusive, physically abusive or obstructive to anyone attending or teaching the class. Additional grounds for dismissal are consumption of alcoholic beverages during class, the appearance of being intoxicated and or under the influence/consumption of illegal substance before or during class. Any person dismissed from class for any of these reasons will not be allowed to re-enter that specific class, but may sign up for a future class, at the approval of the School Administrator.
ATTENDANCE
Any student entering class more than 15 minutes late will be asked to repeat the course. Should any student leave the class prior to its completion, the student will not receive credit for the class. Students may request that they be allowed to attend a future class to receive full credit, provided they are present for the entire session.
GRADING SYSTEM
Unless indicated in the individual class prospectus, a certificate will be earned by each student upon full, successful completion of the course they signed up for. Successful completion includes full attendance and achieving passing scores on any exams associated with the course.
COURSE REGISTRATION/PRE-PAYMENT
Each live course has a limited number of available seats. Only those students who pre-pay for a course at the time of registration are guaranteed a seat in class. Students who register for a course but do not submit payment at the time of registration ARE NOT guaranteed placement in the course. If the course seat availability has reached its maximum, the two most recent non-pre-paid registrations will be cancelled to ensure availability to students wishing to guarantee a seat by pre-paying. We will endeavor to contact any non-pre-paid registered student to give them the opportunity to submit pre-payment for that course, but we reserve the right to cancel non-pre-paid registrations at any time. Students who have not pre-paid must pay before the class begins.
