This course covers the present state of the mortgage industry and the current topics being discussed on the Federal and State levels as well as within community based organizations and the industry in general.

This class meets the CE requirements of the S.A.F.E Act for annual ethics education. Fraud in the Mortgage Industry 3 Hour CE (Approved WA DFI / MEAA)

Learn what constitutes mortgage fraud, how to recognize it, how to avoid it and what your customers should know. This class covers types of mortgage fraud, predatory lending, who is hurt by fraud, impacts of the curent economy and how to prevent fraud. The class also covers many common scams in the market. Learn to protect your client and get your CE’s at the same time.

Loss Mitigation – Saving the American Dream 3 hours (approved WA DFI(MEAA) &DOL)

This course provides Real Estate Agents and Loan originators with essential information on how to guide their clients when the equity in their home is at risk. The focus is to help the client help themselves. This course covers communication, renegotiation and short sales, and includes new programs that are in effect as of October 1, 2008. The agent will learn how to help their clients understand their options and how to communicate with their lender in a positive and effective way.
The class includes a sample consumer presentation for use in group or one to one client presentations.
